Robert De Niro is sticking to his word, and he believes that young actor Leonardo DiCaprio has replaced him in Hollywood.

Showbiz Spy reports: The actor, 69, believes his former This Boy’s Life costar has now taken over as acclaimed director Martin Scorsese‘s big screen star of choice and joked he is only asked to hand out awards these days.

“What mostly gets me here is to present awards to other people,” he said. “I’ve handed out Oscars to Sean Penn, Eli Wallach [and] Francis Coppola.

“I’ve honored Meryl Streep at the Kennedy Centre. I’ve handed out about a half dozen lifetime achievement awards to Marty Scorsese, from the BAFTA to the Golden Globes.

“So even though [Leonardo] DiCaprio has taken my place in Marty’s movies, I’m apparently the go-to guy in handing out the hardware.

“I’ve gotten pretty good at giving out awards but frankly I’ve gotten out of practice accepting an award myself. It’s been awhile except for getting that medal from the Irish American League when they couldn’t get Liam Neeson.”

Leonardo DiCaprio And Blake Lively Part Ways?

Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively have supposedly parted ways. The Aviator actor and The Gossip girl actress have been dating since the month of May and it is Spilts Ville according to a representative for the pair. But the two will remain friends according to U.S. Magazine, even though they really have not confirmed their relationship in in the past five months of dating.

During the summer Leonardo who is 35 and Blake who is 24 were seeing together including a trip to Disneyland, California and a trip to Venice, Italy. And remember the helicopter ride to Saint Paul De Venice, France.

He even flew down to Sydney to celebrate her birthday. The couple seemed very happy together and enjoying quality time but however it has been said that just last weekend she had enjoyed a romantic meal with Green Lantern cater co-star Ryan Reynolds  at O Ya a sushi palace in the Leather Palace.

Bar Refaeli, a model and actress, she is known for her relationship with Leonard DiCaprio, she was also on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2009, it has been reported that her father has been convicted of Malicious Damage after he supposedly attack a photographer who was targeting his daughter, Bar had once dated Leonardo DiCaprio there were complaints from her Dad that the paparazzi wouldn’t stop following her, Kfar Saba Magistrates Court has heard on Thursday that Rafi did break one of their cameras and he also did damage another photographers motorcycle as they arrived at his property while following his daughter there, he has been found guilty of Malicious Damage and sentence will be given to him later this year.

Leonardo DiCaprio wants to spend as much time together as possible. After spending the morning on the set of her film Savages Blake was taken away by her boyfriend for an afternoon of shopping on Friday as they are soon to be separated for several months.
DiCaprio begins filming at Sydney’s Fox Studios in Australia and he will be there for several months. Did Leonardo buy her a Prius or not?
