“Call Me Crazy: A Five Film” follows five shorts named after each title character — Lucy, Eddie, Allison, Grace and Maggie – whose powerful relationships built on hope and triumph raise a new understanding of what happens when a loved one struggles with mental illness.
Gossip Center reports: The “American Idol” alum showed off her svelte figure in a black slim-fitting short-sleeved top with a flirty gold dress and black heels at the Big Apple event.
Over the weekend, Jennifer showed up at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan to attend the First Annual Amy Winehouse Foundation Inspiration Awards and Gala.
After singing “And I am Telling You I’m Not Going” and “The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face,” Hudson gushed that Winehouse was “such a talent, such a gift,” and called the event “beautiful.”

Gossip Center reports: Donning a short gold frock with a criss-crossed bodice, the “Dreamgirls” alum took to the stage to perform at the event as did the “My Way” crooner, who looked dashing in a handsome grey suit.
Before hitting the spotlight to entertain the eager audience, Hudson and Usher mingled with their fellow Hollywood celebs including Sean Diddy Combs and Miley Cyrus.
Held at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel, the evening was billed as a salute to industry icons and honoring L.A. Reid for his contributions to music.

On how she stays in shape:
“Going jogging makes me feel powerful and free — like Rocky! In winter I do the treadmill, the Stairmaster, I like challenging things. I always say to myself, ‘Just give me 10 minutes.’ If I do those 10 minutes – the next thing you know, it’s 20 minutes – I trick myself!”
On how her style has changed since becoming a mother:
“I totally dress for my child! I have T-shirts with Popeye the Sailor Man on it, ones with different animals, comic book characters.”
On looking up to her grandfather:
“The most stylish person in my family was definitely him. He’d take you into his closet and be like, ‘Hey! You need to wear this, Jenny!’ He was [never] dressed down, honey, his closet, his clothes, they were sharp. He would pick things out of his for me to wear and they were always perfect. That’s why I love menswear.”
Showbiz Spy reports: The former American Idol star has lost 80 pounds and thinks Jessica’s diet “has been a colossal joke,” a source told Star magazine.
“Jennifer is frustrated with Jess and how she’s handled her weight-loss fiasco. She thinks Jess’ stab at dieting has been a colossal joke. Jen said that Jessica still looks fat despite an enormous $4 million incentive to lose weight,” said the insider.
“Jennifer has reportedly been a great support system for Jessica, calling her multiple times a day and FedEx-ing her diet diary to Jess.
“Jennifer thinks Jess has been lazy and not serious about getting fit. Jessica obviously didn’t put in the work.
“She’s written Jessica off as a total mess. Jennifer is definitely having the last laugh.”

In addition to her guest starring role on the series, Miss Hudson is also trying her hand at clothing design. The self-titled collection will be comprised of contemporary apparel and accessories for women, including a lace-embellished dress, a feminine hoodie, and a snakeskin-printed purse.
On September 6th, she’ll launch her line with QVC at a kickoff event for New York Fashion Week. Later, the former “American Idol” contestant will join Nicole Richie and Isaac Mizrahi on the QVC channel from 9pm to midnight ET.
Gossip Center reports: The Grammy award-winning songstress donned a lengthy, purple top matched with black leggings before later slipping into a comfortable cardigan while showing her son David Otunga Jr. around the location.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the 30-year-old “American Idol” contestant is set to perform in a multi-arc episode of the NBC show. She will play the role of Veronica Moore, a Broadway star.
Miss Hudson recently opened up about the news stating, “It’s just the perfect opportunity, it’s gonna be challenging, and I’m a little bit intimidated to play this big Broadway star. But it’s gonna be a great experience. I can’t wait to get started.”
“Smash” is set to premiere early next year.
