Star Magazine UK reports: The couple, which met in a Dublin nightclub 18 months ago, wed in a ceremony in Tuscany, Italy earlier this month (Sep12) attended by family and celebrity guests, including McFadden’s fellow Australia’s Got Talent judge Dannii Minogue.
The bride has now told how she turned to her best pal for help after slipping in the bathroom and injuring her face two days before the nuptials, leaving her with a badly bruised lip.
She tells Hello! magazine, “When I fell out of the bath, my lip was like a football on my face. It was one of the worst things you could imagine happening before your wedding.
“But I’m very easy-going. I knew my head bridesmaid Ashley O’Rourke, who was doing my make-up, would be able to fix it.”
Star Magazine UK reports: The Angels hitmaker rejoined his former group for an album in 2010 and tour last year (11), but he is gearing up to release his latest solo record Take the Crown in November (12).
Williams has written songs with Barlow for his new record, and admits he is eager to sing on tracks with his pal in the future – but he would hate to upset fellow Take That stars Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald.
He tells GQ magazine, “I’ve written a couple of songs with Gaz (for the new album) but he’s not singing on the album.
“I love working with Gaz. I’d love to do an album with him – me and him – but that wouldn’t go down well with the boys, I don’t think.
“I’d love to do that in between Take That being Take That and I’d love to do something with Gaz at some point. And being Take That again at some point too.”
Star Magazine UK reports: The actor, who stars in new sitcom Anger Management, admits he recently had problems transferring music files using Apple’s iTunes program, and he became so mad, he smashed up his expensive tablet device.
He tells the Metro, “(The last time I got really angry) was about a week ago. I am mad at some of the Apple products. OK, all of them. Let’s face it – (Apple boss) Steve Jobs was a genius and he changed the world for ever and for the better, I think… (But) the fact you can’t share music between devices and have to go through this central hub makes me very angry.
“So I took my iPad and I flung it – I didn’t know how aerodynamic it was: you can use it as a weapon. I looked over and the whole thing was sticking out of the wall. The good news for Apple is that it worked perfectly afterwards.”
Star Magazine UK reports: The Good Will Hunting collaborators have signed up to work together on the new film, about Boston-based crime lord Whitey Bulger, with Affleck directing the project and Damon taking on the lead role.
Affleck admits he would like to step in front of the camera too, to play corrupt Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agent John Connolly, but he is worried the role will make him unpopular in his native Boston, Massachusetts.
He tells the Boston Herald, “If there was a movie that me and Matt were meant to do together, this has gotta be the one. It’s where my heart is, but there’s a lot of stuff, and we’re trying to cull it and we’re probably twice as careful about this one because we know the degree of scrutiny that people are going to have – particularly in Boston…
“Connolly’s such a great part, but he just makes me sick. With Whitey, at least you know he’s a gangster, he’s a criminal, he got people killed… it was no secret. But the FBI and Connolly in particular were the ones making sure he didn’t get arrested and allowing more people to get killed and exploited and abused.
“I’m tempted to do Connolly. But I don’t know… I feel like I could never show my face again in Boston.”
