Masterchef Christine Ha, Why She Deserved To Win!

Christine Ha the winner from Masterchef show absolute creativity and talent in the finale against her competition, where showed how beautifully why she won.

People reports: The last challenge from which we select the winner will always be a nail biting experience. However, this year felt a little different.

Since the finale was pre-taped, we had a viewing party with Josh, Christine and their families at Eataly in New York. I was able to relive the final day and its excitement alongside Christine and Josh. When the challenge was happening for the last time in the MasterChef kitchen, we judges found ourselves experiencing an odd yet comforting sense of reassurance. They had both already nailed it. There was no worry of potential failure, no anxiety of a possible extreme mishap – not with these two. In my eyes they were already professionals on whom I could depend to produce food I knew I would not only enjoy but be proud of.

What was one of the toughest of tough calls, we had to reward Christine’s performance over Josh’s. The degree of talent she displayed overall in her menu surpassed his. But to be fair, it is difficult to think of what Josh put forth as something that “failed.” Though the title might have escaped him, a career in the culinary world will certainly not. Youthful, ambitious and fiercely passionate, he has it all, including the chops to carry him through a very challenging field. I expect nothing but great things from Josh, and will always be proud of his performance on MasterChef, no matter what he goes on to pursue.

Midway through of this year’s competition, my money would not have been on Christine for the win – and not just because of her disability – because she just didn’t come across as the typical frontrunner. With Christine, slow and steady won the race. She subtlety climbed her way to the top by performing consistently well, triumphing over her own self-doubt, all the while maintaining her signature grace and integrity. It was thrilling to watch. And I can say with absolute confidence there was no one more deserving.

Julianne Hough Almost Gave Up Her Oppurtunity At Love

Julianne Hough is featured on InStyle Makeover, stating on that she actually almost passed up the opportunity to date her American Idol boyfriend Ryan Seacrest.

People reports: “I was reluctant because he is such an influential guy, and what if it didn’t work out?” Hough, 24, tells InStyle in its Makeover 2012 cover story. “Our first date, I was so nervous that I just sat there and interviewed him with questions like, ‘Are you loyal?’ and ‘Are you close to your family?’ ”

Fast-forward to two years later, the pair – who met in 2007 when the Dancing with the Stars and American Idol sets were across the hall from each other – are totally comfortable in their lovey-dovey relationship.

“When we do see each other, we are super excited and do these cute and romantic things,” Hough, who cooks for her beau, 37, says. “I’m 20 lbs. heavier than I was when we started dating. And now we always have great wine, and I can tell the difference. So I told him, ‘You ruined my life because I can’t go to a friend’s house and drink cheap wine anymore.’ “

Simon Cowell Calls Out Britney Spears, As The Mean Judge

Britney Spears who is the most recent risque judge o The X-Factor, is being accused of being mean by non-other than Simon Cowell!

People reports: Now, Britney Spears is hitting back, saying she is never gratuitously nasty – but admits she did model her judging style on her famously cranky costar.

“I used constructive criticism. I learned from the best,” the pop star, 30, says, pointing to fellow judge Cowell during an interview airing Tuesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“I prefer to be honest. I think that’s the best way to go,” she adds. “I wouldn’t want to be told something and then waste seven years of my life. I feel like it’s the thing to do.”

“I’m not disagreeing with you. I’ve been doing it for years,” replies Cowell, 52, though he did reiterate something he said about Spears on a recent conference call: “I’ve never heard someone say no [to contestants] so quickly in my entire life.”

Though she may be a merciless judge, Spears admits to having her own butterflies at first. “I was really nervous,” she says of starting her gig on the show, which premieres its second season on Wednesday night (8 p.m. ET, Fox). “You have all these people behind you, and you know they’re rooting you on. It’s a really exciting, electric thing to do.”

As for who will succeed Steve Jones as host for season 2, premiering Wednesday night on Fox, Cowell said Khloé Kardashian is certainly among the favorites, though he still needs approval from Fox.

“It could be a Kardashian. I think that would work,” he says. “We have to find people who have a great chemistry, but Khloé is definitely up there in running.”

“Dancing With The Star” Carrie Ann Inaba Calls Of Engagement

Carrie Ann Inaba from Dancing With The Stars has called off their engagement with accountant Jesse Sloan.

People reports: “They decided early in the summer to break off their engagement and have remained friends,” a rep for the Dancing with the Stars judge tells PEOPLE.

Sloan, 40, proposed to Inaba, 44, on Live! With Regis and Kelly in March 2011.

In the weeks following the surprise proposal, Inaba gushed about how the duo planned to have a seaside wedding so that their guests could walk barefoot on the sand. The ocean, she told PEOPLE, “has such a spiritual meaning. It’s so vast and yet it unites everyone,” Inaba said last year. “We want everybody to get their feet wet in the water after we say our vows.”

Inaba will be back for Dancing‘s 15th season, which kicks off Sept. 24 on ABC.

“Big Brother 14″ ‘Jurry Member’ Joe’s Eviction Interview

Big Brother 14, Joe survived a while in the house, since he was nominated a few times, but was never eliminated, but now it was time that the numbers didn’t fall in his favor, and was evicted from the Big Brother house.

Big Brother Network reports: It was time for him to go this week after Ian secured the Veto in the second PoV competition of the double eviction night. I had the chance to put a few questions to Joe about his alliances, the biggest mistake he made, and who he wants to see at the finale.

Big Brother Network (BBN): Your allegiance in the game seemed to shift quite often. Who do you feel was your closest, most trusted ally in throughout the game?

Joe Arvin: Shane was the ally that I picked to stick with to the end. Side alliances just seemed to be a part of this season. Not many people stuck together as power shifted. With the coaches I was unable to make my real choices till week three.

BBN: You made it the farthest in the game out of the entire “Team Janelle.” Do you think your team would have survived longer if Janelle had stayed?

Joe Arvin: No – I think that there was too much gossip spread throughout the house about Janelle. I won’t know till the end what was true or false. For now I will believe in my coach.

BBN: If you had one do-over in the game this season, what would it be and why?

Joe Arvin: I sure would have never told Dan (I thought Shane) my conversation with Dan.

BBN: Who would you like to see in the Final 2 and, if different, who do you think it will be in the Final 2?

Joe Arvin: I would like to see Shane and Ian and I think if allowed Dan will make it far.

BBN: Thank you, Joe.

Well Joe managed to get through the season without winning a single competition. As he assured Julie on Thursday, that was not part of his plan, it was just how things turned out. As an alternate this season I did not have the chance to interview Joe beforehand so it was hard for me to accept him as an official houseguest. Eventually though his style of stirring the pot and causing trouble made him an enjoyable player even if his consistently low popularity poll earnings showed most of the audience didn’t feel the same way.

Now Joe will head off to Jury House where he’ll relax, cook, and SHOUT to his fellow jury members until we see him again on finale night.
