Ricki Lake has threatened that she will quit Dancing with the stars. It has been said she is the one to beat but then what is wrong. It was during Monday nights episode when the host nearly broke down in rehearsal along with her pro partner and three time champ twenty six year old Derek Hough.
“I feel a tremendous amount of pressure,” she said while struggling to master the week’s movie score theme. “Has anyone ever quit the show?”
“I am going to have a breakdown. I just can’t do it,” Lake, 43, complained. “It’s just very confusing for me. I am not getting it. I want to quit. Like I totally want to quit — and I am not a quitter.”
Even though she was frustrated, her determination has paid off. Her amazing Tango impressed the Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli. They in turn gave her the highest numbers of the night twenty nine out of thirty.
“This was a blockbuster performance worthy of three sequels,” Tonioli, 55, raved. “The thrill of the chase, the build-up of tension, the chilling ending. It really was an immaculate tribute to the master of suspense [Alfred Hitchcock].”
After hearing the judge’s positive feedback, Lake said she regretted wanting to give up so easily.
“The highs are so high and the lows are pretty low,” she explained. “I’m relieved!”

Derek Hough has dislocated his shoulder in dancing rehearsals on Dancing with the Stars. And it looks as if the show has had it’s biggest injury if the season.
