The Cider House Rules actress Charlize Theron, as playing a schoolgirl in the dark comedy Young Adult, Theron remembers her schooldays as the on who never fit in especially around boys.
“I wore really nerdy glasses because I was blind as could be and the boys didn’t like [me],” the actress, 36, told PEOPLE recently in New York. “I didn’t have any boyfriends, but lots of crushes.”
There was a boy I had a crush on , and all he did was ignore me, also saying she did crazy thing just to be part of the in crowd.
“I wasn’t in the popular crowd. There was a really popular girl at school and I was obsessed with her. I mean you would go to jail for that stuff today,” Theron says with a laugh. “I was in tears one day because I couldn’t sit next to her.”
Also she admits she was bullied by classmates for not having nice hair or nice clothes.
“I actually got a lot of the mean girl stuff from the ages of seven to twelve years of age. I was pretty much a mess in primary school,” she admits. “But I got that out of my system by the time I got to high school and was more immune to all of that stuff.”

The South African actress and film producer Charlize Theron admits that she has triumphed over the huge battle against a nicotine addiction, but does refuse to explain how in fact she did quit smoking in fear of jinxing herself.
The thirty six year old former fashion model has mentioned that the unhealthy habit that she had did become a deadly obsession for her, but she really doesn’t’ t want to discuss how she got through the problem in case she come to point of feeling the urge to light up once again.
She tells Vogue magazine,
“I was highly addicted. I thought, ‘I don’t smoke like normal people. I smoke to die.’”
