American actress Kerry Washington will be joining a new hot TV drama series called ‘Scandals’which is in the works form Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes. ‘Scandals.
Washington will play OLivia Pope an ambitious Washington D.C.-based public relations consultant. The show will premiere April 5th on ABC. Washington was also seen in Our Song and The Dead Girl.

Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler, has some good news, he supposedly is engaged to his long-time girlfriend. The judge for American Idol, has allegedly popped the question to his girlfriend thirty eight year old Erin Brady who is twenty five years younger than Tyler is, and has been seen wearing a diamond ring.
Sources have told Tmz, that it is for sure a ring, though the couple have not yet commented. Apparently Tyler and Brady did spend Christmas Day on the Hawaiian Island of Maui, which has prompted, speculation that this is where the ‘ Feels So Good ‘ singer proposed.
Also the couple has been dating since the year 2006. He admitted earlier this year that his lovers are unable to trust him due to his wild public personality.
”I’m this guy on stage with an outrageous, larger-than-life persona, a persona designed to be over-the-top, out there, and nasty,” he explained.
Tyler is currently working on the 11th season of American Idol, which returns to Fox on January 18.

The former ‘The Bionic Woman actress Lindsay Wagner, is said to be facing some legal charges, from a man who has claimed that he had been injured in a car crash which was caused by her son.
Kumarashinghe Abewardanage, is alleging that he indeed had suffered numerous injuries, when Wagner’s son Alex Kingi, had rear ended his vehicle in a traffic accident, according to TMZ.com.
Apparently he has now filed a lawsuit because of this crash and he has also named Wagner’s as the defendant as she is the registered owner of the car Kingi was driving. Abewardanage is seeking in damages in excess of £15,625.

American country music singer and church music director, Danny Gokey , who just about three years ago lost his wife, and the former ‘American Idol; contestant, is so happy to announce that he is engaged to marry his girlfriend Leyicet Peralta.
The wonderful news was indeed announced on the website of the charity Sophia’s Heart, which honors the memory of his late wife, Sophia.
This is what the site does say, the singer who is now thirty one has recently expresses to friends and family that the two do plan to wed, and they hoping it will be next month.
”He is thrilled to have found Leyicet who also shares his passion and desire to help children and families in need,” says a message on the site. “Accordingly, Danny & Leyicet have requested to their wedding guests that all gifts be in the form of a donation to Sophia’s Heart.”
The couple also issued a statement, saying,
”We are thankful for so many of the blessings God has given us. It is our desire to see homeless children and families be kept together and lifted back on their feet through the help of Sophia’s Heart. We love and appreciate you all.”
Gokey who is from Milwaukee, was a season eight Idol finalist and has a famously tragic back story that includes the 2008 loss of his young wife after a routine heart surgery. Still, last year he was able to tell PEOPLE,
”I feel very lucky [when it comes to] the progression I’ve made in the last year and a half.”

‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ Sinead O’Connor and Barry Herridge, are over just after eighteen days of being married. The Irish singer-songwriter and her husband just after they wed back on December 8, 2011, she has ended their marriage, she announced this Monday on her website.
“Dear friends,” O’Connor 45, writes, “I had for reasons u will all understand, wished to keep this private but have been told today it is to be leaked in the next few days despite my best efforts. So I must now leak it myself so as the record is straight.”
She blames pressures placed upon him by “certain people in his life” not to be with her based on press reports about her.
”Within 3 hours of the ceremony being over the marriage was kyboshed by the behavior of certain people in my husband’s life. And also by a bit of a wild ride I took us on looking for a bit of a smoke of weed for me wedding night as I don’t drink,” she writes. “My husband was enormously wounded and very badly affected by that experience and also by the attitude of those close to him toward our marriage. It became apparent to me that if he were to stay with me he would be losing too much to bear.”
She adds,
“A woman wants to be a joy to her husband. So… U love someone? Set them free.”
She also says,
”He is a wonderful man. I love him very much. I’m sorry I’m not a more regular woman. I truly believe though it is painful to admit, we made a mistake rushing into getting married, for altruistic reasons, and weren’t aware or prepared for the consequences on my husband’s life and the lives of those close to him. He has been terribly unhappy and I have therefore ended the marriage. I think he is too nice to do so. And too nice to trap.”
Also O’Connor does have four children from another relationship, when she had married producer John Reynolds back in 1989, and also journalist Nicholas Sommerlad back in 2001. Also this past April, she did split with her longtime friend and collaborator Steve Cooney.
