Courtney Love, rocker reveals her upcoming memoir “a disaster”. Love is a singer-songwriter and musician, known for her hardcore and grunge scenes of the 1990s with her band Hole for the last while has been penning some details about her life story, however the release date of 2013 keeps getting postponed.
She is the daughter of psychotherapist Linda Carroll and publisher Hank Harrison, and she grew up in Portland, Oregon. She has also admitted it really wasn’t her thing to write a book refusing to tell all as she would like to keep some things private. Love tells Paper Magazine.
“It’s a disaster. A nightmare. (It is) just not working… (I) never wanted to write a book in my entire life. It just sort of happened… It has to stop. What happens from 2006 on in the book is my personal business. I’ve been discreet from that time on, and I want to keep it that way.”
The memoir, titled Girl With The Most Cake, is expected to chronicle Love’s battle with drugs and her doomed marriage to tragic Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain.
A release date has not been confirmed as yet.
