George Clooney has slammed a ‘Fabricated Report’ about his fiance’s Mother. The star well known for his roles in Three Kings and The Ides of March has blasted the Daily Mail because they published a report which had suggested that his fiancee’s mother opposes their plan to get married, saying,
‘This lie involves larger issues.’
Well he has given his response about this recent report about his soon-to-be mother-in-law that he she had any objections about his and fiancee Amal Alamuddin upcoming wedding.
In an op-ed published on USA Today on Wednesday morning, July 9, Clooney blasted Daily Mail that published the story.
“I seldom respond to tabloids, unless it involves someone else and their safety or well being,” the “Gravity” star wrote, adding that the story about Alamuddin’s mother was “fabricated.” Clooney then explained, “None of the story is factually true. Amal’s mother is not Druze. She has not been to Beirut since Amal and I have been dating, and she is in no way against the marriage.”
Clooney and the human rights lawyer have been linked together since October 2013 and they confirmed their engagement in April, 2014.
