Freddie Prinze Jr. Expresses His Opinion About Kiefer Sutherland’s Professional Work

resizedimageFreddie Prinze Jr. speaks bad about actor Kiefer Sutherland. Prinze Jr. gained much of his fame when he acted in I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scooby Doo has done so with his professional life. He spoke out ane reportedly said that he didn’t like working with Sutherland on set of the hit show ‘24‘ and also reported he called him the “most unprofessional dude in the world.” Supposedly the comments had been heard at the Comic Con, when he told ABC News Radio his experience on the show back in 2010 was horrible that he also thought about quitting acting.

“I did ’24′ … it was terrible. I hated every moment of it. I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped.”

He then turned his sights to Sutherland — saying, “Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face. I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that.

“In fact, Prinze Jr. still hates Kiefer so badly, he took a shot at the actor for being short — saying, “I went and worked for Vince McMahon at the WWE, for Christ’s sake … but, at least he was cool and tall. I didn’t have to take my shoes off to do scenes with him, which they made me do [at 24]. Just put the guy on an apple box or don’t hire me next time. You know I’m 6 feet and he’s 5’4.”

But also in 2010 Prinze had a change of heart when he had all good things to say about working again with Sutherland.

  1. Salma says:

Interesting. I wondered about what had happened to Freddie and why he wasn’t acting anymore.

  2. Vincent says:

oh such a great actor! I remember all of his work, and it’s surprising to hear that he didn’t enjoy it. I guess if you don’t have a passion for it, things could be rough.

  3. Very interesting. I love the show 24 and find myself watching it over and over again. I ma so glad it came back out this year with new episodes. Thanks for sharing.
