Tracy Morgan’s crash driver has been charged with death by automobile. The driver, who had been the cause of the crash which left the 30 rock star’s in intensive care has been charged for being at fault. Person in question Kevin Roper is to face one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto following the fatal crash.
What happened is that the Walmart truck in which he was driving ran right into Morgan’s limo bus, which overturned it. In the vehicle were five other people, involved in the crash were six vehicles which occurred on the Jersey Turnpike. Forty five year old Morgan was then airlifted to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, doctors say he is in critical condition, also admitted in the hospital was his friend and travelling partner Ardie Fuqua. Another passenger, James McNair, had been pronounced dead at the scene.
Walmart CEO Bill Simon has said the company will pay the expenses of the victims of the crash if its driver is found to be at fault.
”This is a tragedy and we are profoundly sorry that one of our trucks was involved.
”We can’t change what happened, but we will do what’s right for the family of the victim and the survivors in the days and weeks ahead.”
