Mark Wahlberg feels ‘really old’ after MTV Generation nod. He is well known for his young days of Marky Mark from the Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, moving on to roles in The Perfect Storm and Planet of the Apes and he felt this because he will be honoured with the MTV Generation Award. The forty two year old will be handed the accolade at the MTV Movie Awards next month and says he is embracing ‘the nod’ in celebration of along long career. Speaking on his award, Mark told Access Hollywood:
”You know what that means? It means you’re really old. It means you’re old.
”I’m embracing it. I never thought I’d make it this far.”
Wallberg has four children, eleven year old Ella, eight year old Michael, six year old Brendan and four year old Grace with his wife Rhea Durham says been helpful to him for his role in the upcoming ‘Transformers’ sequel, ‘Transformers: Age Of Extinction’. He added:
”I’m playing a dad, embracing the fact that I’m getting a little bit older, having a daughter who’s not quite a teenager yet, but knowing what that’s gonna be like.”
Walberg is looking forward to taking on this role. He explained:
”I was really excited about it. I think it has a chance to be a lot bigger than the other ones and that’s obviously saying a lot. [Director] Michael [Bay] really kind of took it to another level.”
