Jennifer Hudson has cuts ties with Weight Watchers. Hudson gained most of her recognition for being a contestant on the Reality sow American Idol and after almost four years she will no longer be a spokesperson for them ending her p;partnership. The Dream Girls star in that time lost over eight pounds by following the Weight Watchers’ calorie-counting system, but they she wants to focus on ocher things.
Hudson announced the split in a statement which reads:
“I have chosen to step away from my role as ambassador and I am excited for the year to come, with many new projects and lots of new music.
“My experience with Weight Watchers has truly been life changing. I am grateful for what I have learned throughout the process.”
A representative for Weight Watchers adds,
“We’re confident Jennifer will remain a Lifetime Member. Jennifer’s healthy lifestyle and successful weight loss has inspired so many – from her friends and family to our members and staff, as well as people around the world – and we know that inspiration lives on.”
It was just last year when the thirty two year old landed the Leader of the Year Award from the company’s bosses in recognition of her success on the firm’s diet plan, and, in 2011, in her native Chicago, Illinois home she had opened her own weigh loss center.
