Liam Neeson Is Still Grieving Over Wife’s Death

resizedimageLiam Neeson is still grieving over his wife’s death.The former Kingdom of Heaven star is always missing his late wife English stage and screen actress Natasha Richardson. The Non stop star’s had been married to her for fifteen years before she lost her life in a skiing accident in Montreal, Canada in March, 2009. He says that the realization of her being gone doesn’t feel real and he often thinks that he will hear her voice when his front door opens. The fifty one year old explained to Anderson Cooper’s ’60 Minutes,’ in a new interview that will air on Sunday (23.02.14):

”[Her death] was never real. It still kind of isn’t. There’s periods now in our New York residence when I hear the door opening, especially the first couple of years . . . anytime I hear that door opening, I still think I’m going to hear her.”
He added: ”It (grief) hits you. It’s like a wave. You just get this profound feeling of instability . . . the Earth isn’t stable anymore and then it passes and it becomes more infrequent, but I still get it sometimes.”

The also Taken star now is bringing up alone his children nineteen year old Michael and eighteen year old Daniel said that his awful decision that he made to take her off life support and donating her Kidneys, heart and liver to three other patients in need was unbearable. Liam said:

”She was on life support . . . I went in to her and I told her I loved her, said ‘Sweetie, you’re not coming back from this, you’ve banged your head.’ She and I had made a pact, if any of us got into a vegetative state that we’d pull the plug . . . that was my immediate thought . . . ‘Okay, these tubes have to go. She’s gone.’ ”
