Margot Robbie didn’t tell the truth to her family about her nudity scenes. You may know the Australian actress for acting in the Soap Opera Neighbours as Donna Freedman hid that she had to strip off for the movie The Wolf of Wall Street, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio directed by Martin Scorsese and she knew that they just would not approve. The former Pam Am star (Laura Cameron) reveals that form the time she found out that the movie would have any nudity in it she was worried and nervous to share any details with her family back home.
“I just flat-out lied to my family for a really long time, and I said, ‘I don’t care what you hear, there is no nudity, I’m not doing any nudity. Ignore anything anyone’s saying…’
“I changed that and the lie evolved to, ‘Actually, it’s a body double and they just CGI’d (computer generated) my head onto someone else’. My family don’t have anything to do with the entertainment industry, so they totally bought it.”
But she did finally break the news to them explaining if seeing her naked made them uncomfortable then they shouldn’t see the film.
“I said, ‘Read the book first and if you still want see the movie after reading the book, Ok’.”
The actress is hoping to jet out of her native Australia following the premiere Down Under, so she doesn’t have to be part of “the aftermath” because, “I’m not quite sure how it’s gonna go down”.
