Kathy Griffin is dealing with heartbreak. She is a popular actress and comedian. Achieving recognition for her role on the sitcom Suddenly Susan is going through a devastating family heartbreak as her brother who she loved very much losses his battle with Stage 4 esophageal cancer. It was with CNN s Anderson Cooper that she let out the news that her brother was very sick, during her appearance, fifty three year old Griffin had shout-out to her brother, sixty three year old Gary, a married attorney and father of two, saying he’d been fighting the deadly disease for more than two years.“
Gary, I love you and I hope you’re doing great tonight,” she said. “He promised he would watch.”
According to the American Cancer Society, Stage 4 means that the cancer has spread to distant lymph nodes and other organs.
