Peter Facinelli reveals ‘I treat women with respect’ The star, who first gained fame in the television series Fastlane believes his parents taught him well when it comes to respecting woman, credits his upbringing on the way he treats them. The thirty nine year old Twilight (Carlisle Cullen) star reveals that his,
“parents Bruna and Pierino taught him how care for people properly, and he insists since becoming a father to daughters Luca, 16, Lola, nine, and Fiona, seven, he’s even more conscious about treating the opposite sex with respect”.
Speaking to Life and Style magazine, he said:
”It’s the way I was brought up — to treat women with a lot of respect. I have three sisters and three daughters. I want them to be treated well, so I treat women well.”
The star battle through tough weather to come to aid of his sick girlfriend, Jaimie Alexander who he has been dating since late 2012.
”I ate Mexican food and I got really sick. It was around 1AM and he went out to get me meds. It was freezing and raining outside. He had to walk three miles in the snow.”
He also insists that there is no hard feelings him and his ex-wife Jennie Garth, who is the mother of his children. The couple were divorce earlier this year and the both accepted that the time was right to move on as they were no longer happy together.
”The secret to relationships is to treat each other with kindness and know when it’s not working. Sometimes you need to move on. I am happy now. My kids are happy and everything’s going well.”
