Paul McCartney ends bitter feud with Yoko Ono. English musician, one of the famous members of The Beatles has decided to call it an end to his rivalry with the widow of the late Beatles singer John Lennon, because he fells that it has been going on just too long.
The also Wings performer said he has finally put his very long grudge with her to rest. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, during which he branded the 80-year-old icon a ”badass”.
He told the music magazine:
”I thought, ‘If John loved her, there’s got to be something. He’s not stupid. It’s like, what are you going to do? Are you going to hold a grudge you never really had? George [Harrison] would say to me, ‘You don’t want stuff like that hanging around in your life.’ ”
Paul and Yoko‘s bitter rivalry lasted for decades, because Ono had put blame on McCartney for driving her Lennon and bandmates George Harrison and Ringo Starr out of the band, and Paul believing Yoko’s influence on John was responsible for the group’s end in 1970.
