Liz Dawn needs to receive a live saving heart surgery. The English actress best known for role in the long running British Soap Opera Coronation Street (Vera Duckworth) will have a pacemaker fitted for her following a bad heart attack this year. She will be having the procedure done in at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Hospital on Friday.
The seventy three year old actress needs to get this done following advice from doctors. The legendary star struggles,
with incurable lung disease, suffered a heart attack in May and is said to be having the operation as her lung problems are putting extra strain on her heart.
The soap star’s husband Donald told The Sun:
“Liz is fine. She goes in to have the pacemaker fitted later this week.”
