The Celebrity Apprentice season 2013 all-stars sadly eliminated Dee Snider last night on the second episode.
Hollywood Hills reports: Last night’s episode 2,kicked off with a little bit of conversation footage,followed by the teams, figuring out who would be the next project managers. Omarosa eventually chose to be project manager for team “Power,” while Dee Snider took over project manager duties for team “Plan B.” This was especially important for Omarosa as it was for her late fiancee,Michael Clarke Duncan’s charity.
Next, they showed footage of the celebs ,hopping on Trump’s private jet to head to Orlando,Florida. They were given their task by video while in the jet. It was to create a 3-D, interactive photo experience that supports Universal Orlando’s new marketing campaign. And they would be judged on creativity ,integration ,and guest experience. The winning project manager ,won 20,000 for their charity. It was also revealed that Plan B’s Trace Adkins would not be participating in this task due to a previous engagement.
Next, they showed both teams in beginning prep stages to set up their themes. They were visited by the theme park executives to get some advice. At one point, Omarosa sent Lil John,La Toya, Claudia,and Brande out to pick up some supplies for her theme idea. However, they didn’t know what her complete vision for the theme was,so they were really on edge about getting the wrong stuff, out of fear that Omarosa would F them up in the boardroom if they lost. In fact, that was a running theme for most of her teammates.
Back at Plan B’s camp, Penn tried to work an extremely “over the top” floating heads, magic trick, theme idea that seemed like it would just take too much time to actually create. Team Power ultimately decided to go with a Harry Potter/Spiderman theme. However, the designers felt it was too much,but she kept pushing for it. Plan B’s Dee Snider decided to ditch Penn’s magical idea and just go with a rather conservative life-sized ,celebrity cut out, theme for their project.
Eventually, they showed the teams finally ,setting up their themes and getting them ready for the big showdown. At one point, Omarosa ran into an issue with the designers as they told her, she would have to give something up to make her elaborate theme, work. A couple of scenes later, we saw the teams with their themes put together,and putting on a show out at the theme park area.
Advisors ,Don Trump Jr. and Eric Trump,eventually made their way around to take a look at things. Then the executives showed up,so they could judge the two themes and come up with a winner for the big challenge. And to no surprise, Omarosa just thought her theme was flawless.
Alright, so after all the theme park madness was complete, they showed boardroom footage. The two teams discussed how everything went. Plan B’s Gary Busey was called the weakest link on their side, Everyone thought Dee did a great job as project manager. Omarosa brought up Dennis Rodman as a possible weak link on their team for having the least amount of creativity.
However,she did say, Dennis contributed on the physical end of it. Omarosa’s team thought she was tough,nasty,and smart as a project manager. Trump also had the two teams look at each other’s theme’s just before revealing the winner. Omarosa revealed that she wasn’t impressed with Dee’s work as it seemed too simple,and the theme park would have a hard time using it over and over again as it rested too heavily up on the celebrities actually having to be there,so they couldn’t continue using the theme after they left.
It turns out that Omarosa’s opinion was right on point with the executives as Trump revealed that Omarosa’s team Power, won. It immediately sent Omarosa into tears as it was a very important charity for her. Trump also revealed that the theme park decided to add another $20,000 to her winnings,giving her a total of $40,000 for her charity.
La Toya told the private cams, she thought Omarosa was just trying to manipulate the situation with all her crying. I didn’t particularly get that vibe,but I guess it’s possible. Considering the tears were over her deceased fiancee, I’m thinking they were pretty real.
Next, Plan B argued back and forth over who was responsible for their loss,and ultimately, Dee chose to bring back Stephen Baldwin and Gary Busey for firing considerations. Dee thought Gary lacked too many skill sets,and he didn’t trust Stephen after the stunt he pulled last week by not raising any money for his team.
Finally, Dee, Stephen,and Gary gave one last plea attempt. However,it wasn’t much of an argument at this point, as Dee caught a lot of heat for not trying Penn’s magic theme idea,and Dee pretty much agreed by saying, he should probably go if it was his idea that caused them to lose.
So, Trump ultimately fired Dee and that was all she wrote. Stay tuned,because in the next episode 3, the fireworks really go off as La Toya and Omarosa will finally get into a huge fight and I just can’t wait to see it.
