Vampire Diaries season 4 is supposedly bringing on a new character from the show called ‘Originals’ and it’s a cute one.
Hollywood Hills reports: According to a new report from Deadline, the Vampire Diaries season 4 peeps are very hard at work,not only working on Vampire Diaries,but their new “Originals” spin-off show. It turns out that they already casts their first witch for the show,and she’s like super cute as hell too.
The witch’s name will be Sophia,and played by actress Daniella Pineda. She’s described as being a “witch whose magic has been silenced but not snuffed. A leader and a sexy, sharp-tongued social force, she is quietly sowing the seeds of a revolution amongst her peers.”
Daniella Pineda’s acting credits include a role in an NBC pilot “Midnight Sun” from last season ,and she recently guest starred on Showtime’s hit show “Homeland.” So, welcome her aboard ,guys. I’m sure she’ll do great. As previously reported, the new “Originals” spin-off will revolve around the Original family of vampires, as Klaus returns to the supernatural melting pot that is the French Quarter of New Orleans, a town he helped build centuries ago, and is reunited with his diabolical former protégé Marcel.
Elijah will be intent on helping his self-destructive brother find redemption, and must side with Marcel’s enemies in order to keep Klaus in line. The pilot episode will air on April 25th as a Vampire Diaries season 4 episode.
