Stephanie Meyer’s ‘The Host’ is starring Diane Kruger and on Saturday, February 9th a new poster and a trailer was released of the adaption.
Gossip Center reports: The Andrew Niccol directed movie is officially described as follows: “A parasitic alien soul is injected into the body of Melanie Stryder. Instead of carrying out her race’s mission of taking over the Earth, “Wanda” (as she comes to be called) forms a bond with her host and sets out to aid other free humans.”
In the featurette below, Ms. Kruger explains that the seekers are looking for the last pockets of human resistance. The author of the novel gushes about her performance, saying, “Diane is great. She’s really pleasantly terrifying.”
Also starring Saoirse Ronan, Frances Fisher, Jake Abel, and Max Irons, the sci-fi thriller is expected to hit theaters on March 29th.
