Stephen Baldwin on Thursday, December 6th was attacked with some bad news, faced the law again when he was arrested!
Celeb Spin reports: The “Usual Suspects” star reportedly failed to file New York State income taxes for 2008, 2009, and 2010. According to the state, the 46-year-old actor owes over $350,000 in back taxes.
According to District Attorney Thomas P. Zugibe, “At a time when Rockland County and New York State face severe fiscal shortfalls, we cannot afford to allow wealthy residents to break the law by cheating on their taxes. The defendant’s repetitive failure to file returns and pay taxes over a period of several years contributes to the sweeping cutbacks and closures in local government and in our schools.”
If convicted, Stephen could face up to four years in prison. However, he pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released without bail.
