Lady Antebellum Hilary Scott and her drummer husband Chris Tyrrell are officially expecting her first child.
Celeb Spin reports: Eager to share the news with her fans, the 26 year-old songstress took to her Twitter page on Friday (December 7), writing, “Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY! We feel so blessed!!!”
Since the big announcement, it looks like Hillary is being showered with congratulations, as she later tweeted, “Arrived in Vegas, & so overwhelmed by the outpouring of love about our news! Now some shut eye…this growing a baby thing makes ya sleepy!”
Scott and Tyrell first met during Tim McGraw’s Southern Voice Tour in 2010, before later getting engaged over fourth of July weekend in 2011. The happy couple tied the knot earlier this year.
