‘Anchorman: The Legend Continues’ could be just be getting some more female comedy, to the anticipated 2013 movie.
Celeb Spin reports: According to a report, “Bridesmaids” babe Kristen Wiig is currently in contract negotiations to join in on the fun.
Wiig would play the love interest of Brick Tamland, the dopey weatherman played by “The Office” legend Steve Carell.
Meanwhile, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate, David Koechner, and Will Ferrell will all reprise their roles from “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.” Filming is slated to begin in early 2013 with an October release date.
