Kate Middleton is reportedly going to be spending Christmas with her family in Bershire, South East Hampton instead of with his family in England.
Showbiz Spy reports: rather than accompany her husband’s family to the royal estate of Sandringham in Norfolk, East England — because she’s still suffering from severe morning sickness.
“As things stand, Catherine and her family do not feel confident about her going to Norfolk. They would rather that she stays a quick drive away from hospital,” a source said.
“William will probably go to Sandringham, but they are not sure whether he will go for Christmas Day or later in the holiday.
“The only Royal Family we would definitely say are staying are the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.”
Meanwhile, Kate’s parents have more or less moved in to Kensington Palace to help their pregnant daughter fight to get her health back.
Sources tell Star magazine that Carole and Michael Middleton will “virtually be moving in to help their beloved daughter as she fights to get her health back.”
Kate’s family home in the village of Bucklebury is a mere 15 miles from Kensington.
“Carole was already planning on bucking royal protocol, which normally calls for an army of nurses and nannies, by being a totally hands-on grandmother when it comes to caring for her newborn grandchild-to-be,” a source said.
“But Kate has seemed so fragile while dealing with her debilitating morning sickness, that the time was right for her mom — with dad Michael in support — to take the initiative earlier than expected and make the cottage their home away from home.
“They’d sleep on cots in the kitchen if it meant being on hand to do everything they could for Kate.”
