Barbra Streisand is forming a close relationship with Seth Rogen and its effecting his relationship with her son.
Showbiz Spy reports: Jason Gould, 46, hates that Barbra has been spending so much time with Seth, her costar in new movie The Guilt Trip.
“Jason’s green-eyed with envy over all the praise Barbra has given Seth,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.
“It’s really started to rankle him, especially since he was the one who told her she should do the film.”
Barbra’s only child Jason was being urged to write a no-holds-barred book about his superstar mom. He nixed the idea after their rocky relationship got back on track.
“But now his mom has been complimenting Seth at every turn, it could jeopardize the delicate balance,” said the source. “He sees Seth as a rival for his mother’s love.
“Barbra is crazy about Seth, but her heart and soul belongs to Jason. She’s glad he’s finally come around to appreciate her.”
