Wreck-It Ralph 3D, Disney has landed itself at the very top of the leader back at the box office, of the weekend November 2nd to the 4th.
Gossip Center reports: The animated film about a video game villain who wants to be a hero, but instead wrecks havoc, garnered estimated sales of $13.5 million on Friday with a $50 million projected take during its debut weekend.
Also in its first week in theaters, the Denzel Washington drama “Flight” comes in at number 2 grossing $8 million on Friday. The Robert Zemeckis directed movie is estimated to take in $23 million.
Filling out the top five at the box office in earmarked earnings are the Ben Affleck drama “Argo” ($8.9 million) in third and the just-released Russell Crowe movie “The Man With the Iron Fists” ($8.5 million) in fourth, followed by the Olivier Megaton directed crime drama “Taken 2″ rounding out the list in fifth ($5.5 million).
