Viola Davis was honored on Wednesday, November 14th in Washington, DC at the National Domestic Workers.
Gossip Center reports: Elegant in a black above-the-knee dress, the 47-year-old beauty accepted the Voice of Love Award for Uplifting the Voices of Domestic Workers in Popular Culture honor at a reception at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
Ms. Davis played the role of nanny/maid Aibileen Clark in the critically acclaimed film “The Help,” revealing the plight of domestic workers in the 1960′s South.
Meanwhile, Viola stars in the recently released “Won’t Back Down,” the story of two determined mothers and a teacher who try to make a difference at a failing inner city school.
