Ryan Gosling is featured on the latest poster for his new upcoming movie ‘Only God Forgives’ looking really battered and bruised.
Showbiz Spy reports: In the film, Gosling plays an ex-boxer turned criminal. Only God Forgives — set for release next year — reunites Gosling with his director from 2011’s hit Drive, Nicholas Winding Refn.
The Thailand-set crime thriller, which co-stars Kristin Scott Thomas, pits a Bangkok cop against Gosling’s gangster in a Thai boxing match.
Recent reports claimed Ryan and his girlfriend Eva Mendes are planning to move to Miami.
“Ryan’s friends tell him he’s crazy to leave L.A.,” a source said. “It’s where his career is and where his friends are.
“But Ryan says producers and directors will know where to find him. He wants a new life and a fresh start with Eva. They feel trapped in L.A.
“Eva has a strong liking for Miami. It’s a place of happy memories for her.
“Ryan says the two years he spent in Florida were the best of his life.
“Eva and Ryan agree they need to leave L.A. They sometimes feel like they’re exhibits in a zoo, being ogled all the time. It’s not the life they want for themselves or their future children.”
