Rosie O’Donnell and Kelly Ripa are supposedly still in a very long grudge holding feud since almost six years ago.
In Touch magazine reports: While co-hosting a show with Kelly in 2006, openly gay singer Clay Aiken held his hand over the former soap star’s mouth, prompting the petite blonde to reply with what Rosie insists was a “homophobic” statement.
“Oh, that’s a no-no,” Kelly said to Clay after he covered her mouth, adding, “I don’t know where that hand’s been, honey!”
And while Kelly attempted to set the record straight, claiming her comment was referring to the spread of cold and flu germs, Rosie, who is also openly gay, stood by her accusation.
But the hatchet hasn’t been completely buried yet.
The former friends were seated in the same row at a Nov.12 Madonna concert, when Rosie felt Kelly snubbed her and immediately took to her twitter account.
“Kelly Ripa – the girl can hold a grudge… #madonnaMSG,” Rosie tweeted, later defending her stance on the feud to NeNe Leakes on Anderson Live!
“I wasn’t saying,’Kelly is a b—–‘ I wasn’t saying that,” Rosie said. “I was just saying she can hold a grudge, but she’s allowed. She was very hurt and so even though we talked about it and I apologized she, I think, doesn’t trust me anymore or would rather just not deal with me but we were in the same row.”
