Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse has released a screen shoot, that was given out by Activision.
Digital Spy reports: The images show playable characters Stewie and Brian in a number of parallel universes ruled by jocks, the Amish and disabled people.
The images also show the game’s protagonists battling Long John Peter’s sea dogs on the high seas.
Announced earlier this year, the upcoming action game sees Stewie and Brian travel to different dimensions in order to stop Stewie’s evil brother Bertram.
Players must use Brian and Stewie’s unique abilities to stop Bertram from destroying Quahog.
The game will include co-op and competitive multiplayer modes with a “Family Guy twist”.
Taking its cue from popular Family Guy episode ‘Road to the Multiverse’, the title features members of the voice cast and writing team.
‘Road to the Multiverse’ first aired in 2009, and saw Stewie and Brian travel to a number of parallel universes, including a Disney-inspired version of Quahog.
Other officially-licensed Family Guy games include 2K’s PlayStation 2, PSP and Xbox release Family Guy Video Game! and upcoming massively multiplayer online title Family Guy Online.
