Chevy Chase after all the rough time with the producers and show runners, he will be leaving the cast of ‘Community.’
Celeb Spin reports: Sources say both parties agreed that the 69-year-old actor would exit the show. However, Chevy will appear in all but two of the fourth season’s episodes and in the season finale, which has already been filmed.
Last year, the legendary comic engaged in a well-publicized feud with series creator Dan Harmon. Though Harmon was eventually dismissed from the show last spring, Mr. Chase found himself at odds with showrunners again when he used the N-word while disagreeing with the direction of his racist character.
In March, he told the Huffington Post, “I probably won’t be around that much longer, frankly.”
After the original October 19th premiere date was postponed, “Community” was rescheduled for a February 7th return.
