Britney Spears was embarrassed when she went to purchase some items from a high end store, when her card was declined twice.
Showbiz Spy reports: The singer and X Factor judge tried charging $5,000-plus for dresses, pants, shirts and accessories at Hale Bob boutique in West Hollywood.
When the card declined, Britney snapped, “Run the card again!” But the card the card declined for a second time.
The boutique’s owner then asked Spears if she had another card.
“Britney, really frazzled, said she didn’t,” a source said.
“She pulled out her phone and called fiance Jason Trawick cell. He didn’t answer, so she called his office – but his assistant said he was in a meeting.
“Britney screamed that it was an EMERGENCY! Jason finally came to the phone and Britney, almost in tears, cried: ‘I need you to come here right NOW!’”
