Whitney Port is seen on Saturday, August 25th, in Sydney Australia backstage before the Whitney Eve show!
Gossip Center reports: The 27-year-old designer looked gorgeous, as always, in a nude silk blouse, multi-colored shorts, while accessorizing with a wrap cardigan as she awaited the start of the runway show during the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival.
Before the models took to the runway, the former reality star tweeted, “Pulling into Town Hall in Sydney. Who’s ready for Mercedez Benz Fashion Festival?”
Though Miss Port has always had a passion for fashion, it was her television stint that inspired the creation of her own line.
While talking to the Herald Sun, Whitney said, “TV gave me a huge platform and put me in front of so many sets of eyes that wouldn’t normally have seen what I was doing,” adding, “There’s times when you think that people expect more out of you because you’re a reality star and think that you’re just going to slap your name on to something and not really have any pride or integrity about it, so I do have to prove myself that much more.”
