Pamela Anderson is urging people of British Columbia, because she is disgusted with people hunting, and practicing the killing of fish for an expensive delicacy, and to outlaw the killing of sharks for their fins.
Star Magazine UK reports: The animal-loving actress and activist is pleased Toronto councillors voted to ban menu items like shark fin soup last year (11) and she wants cities like Richmond and Langley to follow suit when the legislation comes into effect next month (Sep12).
She tells GlobalToronto.com, “Hooking sharks, pulling them from the water, cutting off their fins while they are still alive, then dumping them back into the ocean to suffer and die is appalling. To do so for a bowl of soup is indefensible.”
