Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries divorce is going to be a lot longer than what the two anticipated, and now the two will be heading to court, their 72 marriage will most likely be shorter than their divorce hearing.
Reality TV Magazine reports: Their legal teams are prepared to do battle today as they try to justify why the “Keeping Up With The Kardashans” stars are going to trial. If Kris Humphries signed the prenup — what does he hope to gain?
According to TMZ, the legal teams behind Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian will present their cases to the judge. Sources say that Kris Humphries signed an “iron-clad prenup” that leaves him with nothing from his 72-day marriage to Kim Kardashian.
Kris Humphries’s lawyers want to put “reality TV on trial.” Apparently Kris wasn’t grown up enough to realize that this was a sham marriage from the start. But it’s going to be hard to show that Kris suffered damages as a result. He made in the hundreds of thousands by appearing on “Keeping up With The Kardashians” and he just signed a $24 million basketball contract. It’s hard for any of us, especially a no-nonsense judge, to shed a tear for a guy to be smart enough to make that much money but not smart enough to sniff out a publicity stunt.
Although the whole trial may be a publicity stunt in and of itself. Kris may be using the trial as a way to garner fame. Did you know who Kris Humphries was prior to his marriage to Kim Kardashian? Exactly.
