Katy Perry has tons of great songs out, and now she is hinting around about her next album and where she is headed will be much darker.
OK Magazine reports:
Katy Perry, fresh off behind-the-scenes documentary Piece of Me‘s release, has been dropping hints her next album is going to be less sunshine and more edge.
“I would love to just let it [her next album] be the ‘black box’ of who I am,” she told Capital FM this week.
The California Gurls singer said last March that she was “about to get really fu**ing dark. I’ll be shoe gazing.”
Fans probably won’t find this particularly shocking. The singer did suffer the end of her one-year marriage to Russell Brand last year, an event that left her emotionally reeling.
