Katie Holmes on July 27 stepped out with a tall dark haired male friend in New York City where the two looked close as they stepped out for dinner at NoMad Restaurant where they can enjoy Mediterranean food.
OK! reports: Last night, Katie Holmes looked like your average happy-go-lucky girl during a night out on the town in NYC. She and an unidentified male pal stepped out for dinner at NoMad Restaurant, a Mediterranean hotspot.
For the occasion, Katie chose a dark green maxi dress and sleek leather jacket. She kept her look casual, wearing minimal makeup and throwing her hair back in a ponytail. The most interesting thing she wore? A smile. Katie looked positively giddy as her date for the evening flagged down a cab (Katie’s new favorite mode of transportation, it seems) for her. They exchanged friendly kisses on the cheek, and she was off.
Katie has a lot to smile about these days. She sought and won primary physical custody of daughter Suri, 6, in her divorce from Tom Cruise, and is headed back to Broadway to star in Dead Accounts, a play by Smash creator Theresa Rebeck.
Speaking of Suri, she’s probably the only 6-year-old in the world who plays dress-up with her own wardrobe rather than her mom’s when mom is out of the house!
