NCIS star Michael Weatherly will guest-star in one episode of TNT’s forthcoming drama series Major Crimes. The series is a spinoff of the Kyra Sedgwick-starring The Closer, which returns this summer with its final six episodes.
TVLine reports that the NCIS actor will appear early in the first season as Arthur Woodson, a charming con artist who currently works as an “intuitive life strategist” for a group of Israeli Mob wives. Major Crimes will premiere Monday, Aug. 13, 10 p.m. ET on TNT, immediately following the series finale of The Closer. So far no Canadian networks have announced that they will air the series. In Canada, The Closer airs on Super Channel.
