Within just 24 hours of the singer releasing the full video for his single “Boyfriend,” the clip racked up a record-breaking number of views on YouTube.
The video, which quickly went viral after its premiere Thursday night, received more than 8 million views in its first full day of release. As of Saturday, the number of “Boyfriend” views had increased to more than 9 million.
