‘Sex and City’ Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that having children has definitely put some strain on her marriage to Matthew Broderick .
The I don’t Know How She Does It actress, who has an eight year old son named James Wilkie, and two year old twin daughters Tabitha and Loretta, and saying being a parent has her making sure he puts more time aside for marriage with Broderick.
“Kids can really distract you from your relationship,” Parker explained in a new interview with The Daily Telegraph.
“Maybe in good ways and bad ways. It’s important to have all eyes on all parts of the relationship.”
But however, Parker did say that both have their share of issues, and do both pull through and keep their sights on the bigger picture.
“We’ve been together for twenty years and you have good days, you have decent days, and you have bad days. That’s a marriage. That’s a relationship. That’s a friendship, even – relationships outside the marriage run the same course,” she explained.
“If you’re in it for the long haul and you want meaningful relationships, you are going to go through lots of different periods.
