The Australian actor Hugh Jackman has mentioned that he is in fact loosing weight every night of his Broadway show. The X Men actor did announce that he was to take his one man show to Broadway in September, has admitted that his pant size has been taken in three sizes just this week, saying he does loose three to four pound each and every night.
“We started a week ago,” Jackman told NPR. “They’ve already taken my pants in three times.”
He has also said that being on stage is indeed fun,
“I sometimes pinch myself that I’m getting the chance – it’s like ultimate karaoke,” he said.
Also in September he had revealed that he would like to be able to appear on Glee, though he added he usually like tougher roles. He is in the works to play Jean Valjean on Tom Hooper’s adaptation of Les Miserable’s early next year, ahead of an anticipated December 2012 release.
The movie will also star Russell Crowe as Javert and Anne Hathaway in the role of Fantine.
